Three local churches will kick off a joint revival today in what organizers are calling an example of cross-congregational unity.

The Charlotte Crusade Revival is scheduled for Nov. 9-12 and is being hosted by C.N. Jenkins Memorial Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church-West and Mount Carmel Baptist Church.

Guest preacher will be the Rev. Lance Watson, pastor of St. Paul’s Baptist church in Richmond, Va.

Nov. 9: Mount Carmel (7237 Tuckaseegee Road)

Trustee Day at Gethsemane A. M. E. Zion

Gethsemane A. M. E. Zion Church at 531 Campus St, Charlotte, NC will
celebrate its Annual Trustee Day and 139th Anniversary on Sunday,
November 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Rev. Dr. David Baker, a former Minister of Gethsemane will be the 11:00AM
speaker. Dr. Benjamin L. Morrow, Presiding Elder of the Church District of the
AME Zion Church will be the 3:00 speaker. Lunch will be served at 1:30.

Theme: “Rebuilding the Walls of Gethsemane thru Prayer, Faith, and
Dedication” is the initial step of a 5 year plan.

Please join us as we reflect the past, celebrate the present, and visualize the
future.
