Marvin Sapp loses wife to colon cancer

MaLinda Sapp, the wife of gospel artist Marvin Sapp, died Thursday from colon cancer, according to published reports.

The couple had been married for 15 years and have three children. Marvin and his church, Lighthouse Full Life Center Church, had previously launched a 24 hour prayer campaign for the complete healing of MaLinda.

MaLinda Sapp was administrative pastor alongside her husband in Grand Rapids, MI. She also served as manager for Marvin Sapp and had executive producer credits on many of his audio and video recordings.

Marvin Sapp is best known for songs including “Never Would Have Made It” and “The Best in Me.”
