We are counting down the days to celebrating a victory. Not just any victory, but the victory of our faith.

We are preparing ourselves through sacrifice, suffering and sanctification for the Resurrection Sunday. Some of us are working on the songs of Zion, while others are making preparation to bring messages of hope and joy of our resurrected Lord.

As we near the end of our Lenten journey, let us prepare to come with a renewed spirit of hallelujah praises and thanksgiving for our Risen Savior.

Rev. Glencie Rhedrick

***
Our Gracious God,

We come to You, Our Heavenly Father, with a spirit of plenteous gratitude, for You woke us up and placed our feet on the road to redemption. You prepared us with Your breath and touch in order that we may know You in the fullness of Your grace and mercy towards us.

We thank You for this period of Lent, for it has given us an opportunity to search our ways, attitudes and commitment to serve You and only You. We thank You for this period of Lent as we learned what it means to sacrifice daily in order to get closer to You.

Oh, Lord, we pray that as we continue to sacrifice ourselves more for the cause of Your risen Son, Jesus the Christ, others will come to know more of You. We pray that on this Resurrection Sunday many will seek Your face and give holy praises to our hope of Glory, our King Eternal, The Truth and the Son of the Most High.

For it is in the matchless name of Jesus who saves, restores and frees, we pray! Amen, Amen and Amen.
