The Park Church: Watch Night Service at begins at 9:45 p.m. (doors open at 9 p.m.). On Sunday, January 1, the church will hold a special New Year's Day Service at 9:45 a.m. Holy Communion will be served. All services will be at The Park Church Independence location, 2500 E. First Baptist Church-West will travel to C.N. Jenkins Memorial Presbyterian Church (1421 Statesville Ave.) for a combined Watch Night Service at 10 p.m. (The service alternates between the two churches each year). On Sunday, Jan. 1, First Baptist Church-West (1801 Oaklawn Ave.) will hold one service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Ricky A. Woods is senior pastor.
