What an awesome, majestic Lord
This week on the Christian Calendar is Holy Week. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been
in deep thought over what it must have felt like for Jesus to be betrayed by one of His own; to have His disciples fall asleep as He waited and then have to defend one of his own as the soldiers carried Him off to be crucified.
What an awesome, majestic Lord, to endure such physical and emotional pain as well as separation from those whom He loved. Isn’t that just like a parent, willing to suffer to ensure you the best that life can offer? So how can we, His children, thank Him enough for the extraordinary sacrifice for such an ordinary people?
So as you and I rise early on Resurrection Sunday, go in the Spirit and knowledge in knowing How Great is our God. How Great is His Son for dying to set us free from sin and to reunite us with His Father, our Father. Praise Him!
