Parents, this one’s for you (and the little ones too)
From one parent to another, I challenge moms (and dads, too) to complete Parade magazine’s Kids’ Health Quiz. This short on-line test empowers parents with great data to keep little ones healthy and fit. For example: How much sleep should your child get nightly? Which childhood disease no longer requires immunization? Or, (my favorite) how many push-ups should an average 9-year-old perform? To take the quiz, click here.

It seems that when done ‘correctly,’ merely flipping/throwing or tossing a kid promotes self-esteem, and can promote physical fitness. To read more, click here.
