The BET Awards has announced its 2009 nominees.

It’s no surprise that Beyoncé and Lil Wayne top the list.

Beyoncé is up for five awards. Two for her videos “Single Ladies” and  “If I Were a Boy.”

Lil Wayne is up against T.I., Young Jeezy, Rick Ross and Kanye West for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist.

Although T.I. won’t be in attendance if he wins any awards (he’s due to start his one year jail term on May 19 ) we predict he’ll snatch the Viewer’s Choice Award and Best Collaboration for “Live Your Life” featuring Rihanna.
