Dance the salsa
Last weekend was simply magical. I felt as if I were Cinderella the entire weekend..jpg)
Friday started with attending the meet-and-greet session with my favorite photographer, Jean Moutoussamy -Ashe. What a beautiful exhibit. I've admired her work since I was a young girl.
I then proceeded over to the Fillmore for the Uptown Charlotte Jazz Fest. The show was "smoking," and I couldn’t believe I was finally seeing Michael Franks!
Saturday evening I enjoyed the second part of Charlotte Jazz. George Duke performed my favorite song, “No Rhyme, No Reason,” David Sanborn played "Lisa" and Gerald Albright performed a spicy version of "Close to You."
Charlotte is definitely holding it's own for great entertainment.
