Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Charlotte Alumnae Chapter recently held its 48th annual Debutante Cotillion at Halton Arena.

Sydney Monique Reid was crowned as Miss Debutante.

The debutante court consisted of first attendant Kayla Simone McCollum, second attendant Terri Nicole Niter and third attendant Bre’ Simone Chambers. Christa Lynn Harris was named Miss Legacy.

This year the Chapter presented 35 debutantes with the theme Debutante Cotillion 2012: This Magic Moment.

Debutantes are high-school seniors who compete for the title of Ms. Debutante.
