Former "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino's security team is on high alert after the 25-year-old singer received a disturbing letter. She has received a threatening letter from someone claiming he used to work as a Fox security guard during her " American Idol" days.

Fantasia’s manager told TMZ that Barrino got scared after reading  a letter with racial slurs and a line that read, “go back where you came from and die.”

Fantasia’s manager said the singer immediately contacted theater security which then contacted the LAPD.

Theater security has been “beefed up” and sanything sent to the stars dressing room will be screened beforehand.
