Let's break it down. According to Wiki, “Fête” is a French word meaning festival, celebration or party, which has passed into English as a label that may be given to certain events. “Fabulous” is defined as being of incredible or astonishing nature.

They come together online to create an Internet column offering unparalleled advice from your local "Hostess with Mostest" in matters of entertaining, hosting and celebrating with friends and family. I truly believe life is about giving to others with your whole heart, so in that spirit I am here to share.

From the time I first matched Barbie plates with Barbie cups, I have possessed a love for the details that can truly make a party something to remember. For me, a celebration is the ultimate chance to give to others from deep in your heart.

Whether it is a birthday or anniversary, wedding or casual gathering, your event is your opportunity to give laughter and joy, memories and attention, to your friends and family.

A while back, a friend suggested that I turn my love for hosting into a money-making venture. I took that suggestion and created Splendid Soirees, a place where I can celebrate the milestones in others lives, while letting my entire creative energy run wild.
