Jay-Z has joined a lawsuit suing an Alabama tea house for playing his music without permission.

According to TMZ.com, the rapper is suing "A Spot Of Tea" for playing his collaboration with Rihanna, "Umbrella," without a license.

The lawsuit against the tea spot is part of a bigger lawsuit by Universal Music Group (UMG) which is targeting small businesses for playing music without paying for the rights.

The other artists involved in the suit are Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi and No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani.
