We were so happy to hear that singer Jill Scott found love again and was engaged to be married.

The new mom gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Jett in April.

So imagine how shock we were to learn that Jilly from Philly is single – again.

Scott said in an Essence.com interview that her and man John Roberts are no longer together. Jill is a single mother now and she says they are “co-parenting and working on being friends.”

We are waiting on her new album. We're sure she'll singer us through her latest heartbreak.
