Singer Kelis, 29, has given birth to a baby boy named Knight.  Kelis reportedly banned her soon to be ex-husband Nas from the delivery room because he was drunk.

Nas, 35, announced the birth via video posted online saying, “My son is born today, so shout-out to my son, Knight.” He later adds, “My son’s name is Knight. That’s what I named the young God, Knight.”

Kelis was  supposed to be in court on Tuesday over her dispute with Nas over spousal and child support but the singer went into labor.

Kelis filed for divorce in April citing “irreconcilable differences”.
