Alisha Casey and LaShawn Millner had been attending school together since they were in middle school. During all those years, they never spoke or shared mutual friends.

That was until May 2004 when they shared a limo ride to the John Motley Morehead High School prom in Eden, NC.

That night marked the beginning of a courtship at led them to Disney World three years later. As the night drew to an end, Alisha was so captured by Disney's fireworks show that she nearly missed what was occurring at her feet. Then a stranger told her to look down. LaShawn was proposing.

They were married on September 7, 2010 at A’Faires Banquet & Events in High Point, NC.
