LaToya Michelle Clark and Derek Andre Howell are pleased to announce their plans to wed on April 15, 2011.

If you ask this Charlotte couple how they met, LaToya jokingly will reply: “We met in jail."

Back in 2008, Derek was a detention officer, and LaToya was a nurse passing out medication on his floor.

LaToya said she had been praying that God would show her a sign when she found the right man. She received that sign on their first date.
