Here’s good news for Lil Wayne fans:

The rapper is coming to North Carolina, but not the Qcity.

He’ll play Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion in Raleigh on Friday, July 15. Special guests Rick Ross, Keri Hilson, The Far East Movement and Lloyd will open the show.

Tickets for the “I’m Still Music” concert go on sale Saturday May 21 at 10 a.m. at LiveNation.com, Ticketmaster or charge by phone 800-745-3000.

Lil Wayne has headlined 78 shows in nine months, grossing over $40 million and making him hip-hop’s most profitable touring artist, according to LiveNation.

He recently released “6 Foot 7 Foot,” the first single off his heavily anticipated The Carter IV album.
