Marley's son disputes memoir
Ky-Mani Marley, a Grammy-nominated musician and son of the reggae legend Bob Marley, is considering a lawsuit against the publisher of his memoir, according to the Washington Post.
"Dear Dad: Where's the Family in Our Family, Today?" is published by Farrah Gray and tells the story of a son who was born out of wedlock and abandoned financially after his father’s death. In the Post’s story, Ky-Mani Marley said he intended to share a tale of redemption, but instead, the book offers a twisted message.
In turn, Gray says he might file a lawsuit against the Marley estate and that Ky-Mani Marley was intimidated by relatives.
"This is his story; these are his words," the Post quoted Gray as saying.
