Donna Jones and Maurice Taylor met in a lounge while they were attending a hair show in Atlanta.

Donna’s first thought was, "This is not going anywhere.”

She lived in Charlotte, Maurice in Lexington, Ky.

But as the saying goes, where there’s a will there’s a way.

The couple began looking for a ways to make it work. They began spending alternating weekends in Charlotte and Lexington. After flying back and forth for a year and a half, something happened. After dropping Donna off at the airport one day, Maurice realized that something needed to change.
