Mekesha Peterson and Ramon Woodcock met at a local café on salsa night.

He obviously liked the way she moved because, after they spent that first evening dancing, he delayed his plans to return to New York.

Ramon, who is of Panamanian descent, also like the fact that Mekesha spoke Spanish.

Over the next four years, the two racked up frequent flyer miles as a serious love affair developed. Then came the day when, in front of her family and friends, he made her “crumble and soar” at the same time.
