A deal is underway to make 80 hours of video shot during Michael Jackson’s dress rehearsal footage into a feature film.

Before his untimely death, Jackson was preparing for his upcoming 50 show tour in London.

According to Variety.com, Sony pictures in trying to strike a deal with AEG Entertainment to acquire the right to the rehearsals. The deal could cost Sony $50 million.

Variety also reports that AEG is also gearing up to sell rights to Jackson's memorial concert on August 29 – the day that would have been Jackson's 51st birthday.
