Jennifer Lopez is halting production on her clothing line Sweetface after the spring 2009 line.

Sweetface launched in 2003 and was supposed to be an urban streetwear line.

The JLO by Jennifer Lopez line still sells in 40 other countries outside of the U.S.

With so many celebrities have clothing lines these days and we’re not surprised that this one is closing down. Is it the recession?

What we really want to know is what makes so many celebrities think we want to wear clothes with their names on them?
