Kelly Marie Spoon and Richard Charles Garin met in 2003 as freshmen at the University of South Carolina. That same year they shared their first kiss as the ball dropped on New Year’s night.

They were married six years later in a small, intimate ceremony in Arizona, where Richard, now a first lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, was completing his training as a fighter pilot. They renewed their vows in a traditional ceremony at the Belk Chapel on the campus of Queens University.

For Kelly, “It was my dream wedding that I never thought in a million years could happen.”
