Rihanna goes to court today and will take the witness stand against former beau Chris Brown in his preliminary hearing.

Brown faces two felony counts of assault and making criminal threats related to an incident that occurred earlier this year.

If Brown is convicted, he could go to the slammer for up to four years and eight months.

The hearing begins at 1:45 p.m. Pacific time, but it won’t be televised.
