Rihanna broke her silence this morning on Good Morning America, saying she was embarrassed by the incident and hopes people can learn from her situation.

In the Interview, the 21-year-old singer speaks candidly about her relationship with former lover Chris Brown.

 “This happened to me… and it can happen to anybody," she said in reference to her attack by Brown last February.

In the two-part interview, Rihanna will also discuss her family life and how she's been since her split for Chris Brown.

The rest of the interview will air Friday on "20/20".
