Rock Hill man talks about "Survivor" experience

Jerry Sims, the Rock Hill soldier voted off “Survivor” last week, tells the Charlotte Observer he has no hard feelings.

“If the shoe was on the other foot, I would have voted off the sick guy, too,” the newspaper quotes Sims, 49, a first sergeant in the S.C. National Guard's 1222 Engineering Battalion, as saying.

“Living on a diet of beans and water, Sims awoke on his third day in the steaming Brazilian highlands with the queasies,” Observer TV reporter Mark Washburn writes. “As the days went on, his stomach got worse, sapping his energy.”
