Tiffany Lynette Phifer and Ryan Erwin Dubose met as students at N.C. State University in January, 1999. And that’s about all they can agree on concerning that first encounter.

Ten years later at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, they became husband and wife. Their reception was inside the Wachovia Atrium in uptown Charlotte, and they honeymooned in Hawaii.
