Last week, a man was arrested in South Florida for allegedly stalking Serena Williams. The 40-year-old man is accussed of using the celebrity's twitter updates to stalk her in various locations.

This week, the tennis star posted a new avatar on her Twitter page showing an image of her wearing nothing but a white bra and panties. The image suggests the viewer is peeping through a lace curtain at Williams while she unknowingly looks away.

The Twitter pic was only up briefly, but did not go unnoticed by national sports news columnist Greg Couch. In a blog post he wrote: “Williams has masterfully branded herself, now as a celebrity tennis player and not a tennis playing celebrity. The brand is to sell sex now, with tennis as an afterthought, if that.”

The sexy image appeared on Thursday and stayed up about half the day before being taken down and replaced by an old picture of her in a tennis outfit.
