A warm smile can sometimes say more than words.

Takera Price and Brian Vaughan had exchanged smiles each time their paths crossed at the Charlotte hospital where they worked. Brian was so enchanted by her smile that he decided he had to find out who she was.

In June 2009, a mutual friend introduced them. It didn’t take them long to fall in love.

As Christmas approached, Brian began to shower Takera with little gifts each day. On Christmas Eve, he accompanied her to a family dinner and secret Santa exchange.
