Spring is in the air!

Last weekend I attended the Harvey B. Gantt Center's meet and greet with art lover and collector Mrs. Vivian Hewitt. The Hewitt artistry collection was absolutely wonderful. If you haven't had an opportunity to view the collection and you have a love for art, get there soon.

I also attended the Arthouse in NODA for a seminar called “Relationship Matters.” Great time had by all. Special thanks to Bert for keeping us ladies in “The Know."

Mark your calendar for the Arthouse Saturday, April 9. The featured topic, “Do black women have a monopoly on HATIN’ each other?” A must attend for Charlotte's finest, that means you! Bring your tissue; this is sure to be an evening of healing and bonding for ladies in the Qcity.

The clocks have gone ahead one hour, so let's play catchup on our 60 minutes loss with my weekend picks: This weekend I'm biased to music. Last night it was Kem, Musiq Soulchild & Ledisi. This weekend, The Four Tops, Phil Perry and the legendary Al Jarreau!
