Tiffany Cunningham says she knew the moment she met Mick Lowry that the two were destined for one another.

They were both students at Winthrop University in Rock Hill.

“I remember shaking his hand and looking into those gorgeous green eyes! I knew that he would be mine,” she recalled.

But like most things in life, romance would take time. At first, they were strictly friends.

Then came a snowstorm in February 2004 that canceled class and led to a campus snowball fight.
