Tim Hines and Dionne Mayhew grew up as high school classmates in Jacksonville, Fla. They also attended college together at Florida State University.

As for romance, the two say they remained strictly friends.

“I always thought that she would be the perfect wife,” Tim says, “but I never tried to date her because the timing wasn’t right.”
