Attention, R&B fans: The Qcity has landed a stop on Usher’s OMG tour.

The April 30 concert was announced this week by AEG Live, which is promoting the show. The Charlotte stop at Time Warner Cable Arena will include special guest Akon.

Usher is one of the hottest acts on tour. He recently thrilled Super Bowl fans (and disappointed others because he didn’t sing) when he appeared with Black Eyed Peas during the halftime performance He also performed with Justin Bieber at the Grammy Awards.

According to the Charlotte observer, the 32-year-old crooner was last in Charlotte on Sept. 30, 2004.

Tickets for Usher's April show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, through timewarnercablearena.com, ticketmaster.com, the venue box office, Ticketmaster outlets, or charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000.
