Will Smith’s movie, "Hancock" grossed $624 million in 2008, so it's no surprise that he plans to play the anti-superhero character again in a sequel for Columbia Pictures.

The Hollywood Reporter, reports that two writers have been hired to write the sequel, Adam Fierro and Glen Mazzara. Both writers will work closely with Smith and director Peter Berg to develop the plot.

While a production start date has yet to be announced, Hancock 2 is expected in theaters by 2011.
