After a two-year hiatus,  'Boondocks' creator Aaron McGruder has confirmed that the hit series will return.

McGruduer says the third season will premiere on Adult Swim May 2 at 11:30 p.m.

The controversial show is based on the comic strip "The Boondocks" which centers around two characters Huey and Riley, who move away from the city to the suburbs.
