Wyclef Jean hires a new accounting firm
After much controversy, Wyclef Jean’s foundation has hired a new accounting firm.
His foundation also known as Yele Haiti Foundation was under scrutiny the last week because the non-profit’s tax records didn’t seem to add up.
The new accounting firm, RSM McGladrey, will regulate donations being pledged to Haiti relief through Jean's foundation.
The rapper and activist admitted last week that his foundation has made mistakes in the past but that they're on the right track to improve.
"I think we have learned from our mistakes," he said on The Oprah Winfrey Show. "In moving forward, I think we're going to be stronger than ever."
