A funeral service will be held for Mrs. Maggie Watkins on Thursday, December 30, at 12 p.m. at the Long & Son Mortuary Chapel, 2312 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, North Carolina.. Visitation begins at 11 a.m..

Interment, will be in South Boston, Virginia.

Ms. Watkins of Charlotte died December 23, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center-Main. She was 85 years old.
