Mr. Coleman Johnson Carter Sr. fell asleep Thursday, March 3, 2011 at home.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, March 11, 2011 at 1 p.m. with visitation at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Carter was preceded in rest by his late wife, Lillie Mae Carter. Surviving are daughters, Lois Fisher (Johnnie), Marie Reel (James) and Peggy Crawford; sons, Coleman Carter Jr. (Rosemary), Roy Miller (Paulette) and Harold Alexander.

Long & Son Mortuary Service is serving the Carter Family.
