Doris Kimble Bell, was born on July 10, 1930, to the late Walter and Patsy Kimble in Mecklenburg County. She died on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at her home.

Doris was one who loved being around her family and enjoyed being surrounded by them.

She graduated from Second Ward High School in 1949. Doris was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church and a life-time member of the “Rasheba” Chapter #646, O.E.S. She retired from Charlotte Memorial Hospital.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, Marie Wallace, Barbara Henry and Ivory Kimble, and two special nieces, Sybil Stacey and Sylvia McDowell.
