Mrs. Delores Welch Brower, 54, was born January 22, 1955, in Charlotte to the late Wade T. Welch and the late Sadie G. Welch.

She departed this earthly life on Dec. 1, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at the New Shiloh Baptist Church, 2600 Elmin Lane, Charlotte, on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009. Quiet hour will begin at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Brower was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. She leaves to cherish her fond memories her husband, Samuel L. Brower Jr.; two step-sons; five sisters, Bertha Welch Lynch, Hattie Welch Williams (John), Frankie Welch Mitchell, Yvonne Welch Floyd (Hazie) and Gloria Welch Bruton (George), all of Charlotte; 17 nieces and nephews and 28 great-nieces and great-nephews, all of charlotte; one aunt, Willette Welch Love, and a host of other relatives and friends.
