Cecil Roosevelt Sturdivant, 84, of Rock Hill, S.C., died Mon, Sept. 28, at Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.

Funeral services will be Sat, Oct. 3 at 12 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy Graham officiating. Visitation begins at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.

Sturdivant leaves to cherish his memories six sons Joe, David, Ivan, Donald (Goldie), William and Carl (Sonya); three daughters Cecelia Harris, Carolyn Glenn and Linda Sturdivant; two brothers Harlie Sturdivant, Ansonville, N.C. and the Rev. William Sturdivant (Ornie); 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Alexander Funeral Home is serving the family.
