Mr. John Edward Bridges of Charlotte passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center-Main. He was 65 years old.

He attended West Charlotte High School.

A funeral service is scheduled for 12 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, at the Long & Son Mortuary Chapel. Visitation is at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens.

Long & Son Mortuary Service is serving the family.
