Mrs. Katie Bell Carter, 78, of Charlotte, NC, died peacefully on June 21, 2011, at Charlotte HealthCare Center.

She was born December 24, 2011, in Mint Hill, NC, the daughter of the late Mr. Howard Wallace, Sr. and Mrs. Rosa Lee Wallace Montgomery.

Visitation is Friday, June 24, 2011, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Progressive Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, 600 Capps Hill Mine Road, Charlotte, NC, 28216.
