Walter James Weathers of Charlotte died Friday, December 17, 2010 at Mecklenburg Healthcare Center. He was 79 years old.

Mr. Weathers worked as a maintenance technician.

A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, December 23, at 12 p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church. Visitation is at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in York Memorial Park.
