Mr. Robert B. Washington of Charlotte died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 at the U.S. veterans hospital in Salisbury. He was 82 years old.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, in the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is at 10 a.m.

Burial will be in Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens.

Alexander funeral home is serving the family.
