Mr. Robert Lee Bell, 85, of Charlotte, entered into eternal life on October 27, 2010 at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House.

He was born in Athens, Georgia on July 2, 1925, son of the late Alfred Lee and Emma Eula Bell.

He was a retiree of Sears Roebuck & Co. Mr. Bell was a faithful member of Mayfield Memorial Baptist Church.

In 1947, he married Lula M. Thompson.

Survivors are his wife, two daughters, Annie Mildred Lyle (Hubert Jr.), Deborah Lipscomb (Charles), four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Mayfield Memorial Baptist Church (700 Sugar Creek Road West, Charlotte, 28213) with the service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Beatties Ford Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are entrusted to Alexander Funeral Home, 1434 Statesville, Ave. Charlotte, N.C. 28206.
