Teretha S. Connor was born August 18, 1916 in Mount Holly, N.C., and later moved to Huntersville. She entered her eternal rest on Dec. 1, 2010, at Huntersville Oaks Nursing Home.

She is survived by four daughters: Mary Atkins, Brenda Walters, Pastor Dorothy Woods, and Vernance McCain; two sons, Harry John Lee Connor Jr. and Derrick Connor; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; and a host of close relatives and friends.

A homegoing service will be held Dec. 7 at 1 p.m. at Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Huntersville. Quiet hour will be from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
