Mrs. Zephaniah Barrett Monroe, of Charlotte, NC, transitioned on August 23, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Henry Barrett of Perryville, MD; Charles, Jr. and Carl Monroe of Charlotte, NC; a host of grand and great-grandchildren.

Service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 12 p.m. with visitation beginning 11 a.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, 1424 Statesville Avenue, Charlotte, NC. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Alexander Funeral Home is serving the Monroe Family.
