Just a couple of weeks after Fantasia’s suicide attempt, George Lopez offered her some tongue-in-cheek – if not sage – advice: “Get off Twitter.”

The former “American Idol” winner was a guest on Lopez’s late-night show Wednesday. When he asked Fantasia about her overdose, she replied she was tired of constant criticism from the outside world. That’s when the comedian gave her something to ponder: “Girl, you need to get off Twitter. Don’t listen to that ****.”

He added that she’s talented and has a beautiful daughter; that’s “what should come first. Every day.”

The High Point native also performed “Man Of The House” from her new LP, “Back To Me.” The album, released Tuesday, is on pace to debut No. 2 on the Billboard chart next week.
