Back stateside, for American hip-hop fans, Christmas may come a bit earlier. Jigga-bestie Kanye West recently announced (via his new Twitter account) his G.O.O.D Music label will release new tracks each week through the holiday season.
“I'm calling it good Fridays,” West tweeted. “Yall know every Friday yall gone have a new joint from our family. We look at the game completely different now.”
Last week, West released his "Power" remix, featuring Jay-Z and producer Swizz Beatz.
West contended he is doing this for his fans; he even recounted a conversation he’d had with Swizz Beatz: “Swizz looked at me the other night and said man are you getting sleep and I told him I can't sleep... My people need this new music.”
